We have sent our youngest there for the past two years and he is graduating into Kindergarten this year. While I am happy to not have to pay for childcare anymore, we will be sad to say goodbye. as this centre has been absolutely fantastic. The building and play area are always very clean, they have a huge play area in the back with a pump track for bikes. They cook the kids amazing food each day. They have a very good sick policy as well, and are far less likely to need to close a class or more down due to sickness, which is very different then the daycares we have used previously. Thank you to the owners of the centre, and to all the wonderful, and always smiling teachers that have made our sons experience there so fantastic.

Had my son for over 2 years til he graduated and onto Kindergarten. Had a blown out grad ceremony for him and his class. Excellent staff!!! Very clean facility. Organized and very friendly. Price is fair and fits our budget. Highly recommended!!!

This place is absolutely amazing! The owners are caring, down-to-earth people that truly care about children, families, and their community. The facility is exceptional! It was designed with children, families, and staff in mind. They have a coffee bar for parents! The educators are some of the best in the industry. We definitely miss our beloved teachers <3 Thank you for taking such great care of our two girls. Keep up the great work! We appreciate you!!

The most important thing that stuck out about this daycare is that they actually care about your child. Transitioning to a daycare is difficult for a toddler, but staff were very caring and demonstrated immense amount of empathy. They provided plenty of communication and updates throughout the day to make the transition easy. The childcare providers, teachers, are considerate, caring, and genuinely want to help. The facility is brand new. It's very clean, organized and they have a wonderful (and large) playground in the back - isolated from traffic/noise. COTI uses an app to share child and management updates and it is a wonderful tool to communicate back to the management team. It's also great to see progress on how your child is enjoying their day.

My daughter is coming up to her 1 year anniversary. We very grateful to all the amazing teachers and the owners who are often waiting to greet everyone in the morning. She is beyond excited to be dropped off in the morning and always happily playing outside when we arrive for pick up. They do crafts daily, have circle time and the most beautiful outdoor space with large shaded areas. They use a great app to communicate with parents about the provided meals, nap time, supply needs and send pictures. We love that we can add family to our crew, and the photos are shared with them.

My son attended COTI for just over 3 years, during which time my daughter was in after school care at the same facility. I have absolutely nothing but incredible things to say for this centre and their amazing staff. The teachers are so great with all the kids and care for all their little 'friends'. They are professional and welcoming. Both kids loved going there and never complained about a single issue. Even though it's a big centre, the owners, Nancy and Richard somehow make it feel like a family daycare. We consider ourselves quite fortunate to have had them play such an amazing role in the formative years of both our children's young lives. I will always recommend Children of the Island. If you get a spot, you've struck gold.

This centre is beautifully designed with consideration of both the kids and parents. Professionalism and experience is evident in interactions with the kids and parents as well. The facility itself and the planned activities provide the kids with an environment that will help them thrive at physical, social and emotional levels.

We were extremely and fortunate lucky to have our son in the program for 4 years and it changed our lives. The early childhood educators at the center pride themselves on being kind and attentive to all the children and the French classes were an awesome option. Having the meals that the cooks at the center prepared were definitely a huge boost for trying new foods as well. If there was a sixth star they would have it!
